PIZZA RECIPE ON PUFF PASTRY
Italian pizza has become a favorite by millions of dishes around the world. It's no wonder that in the classical recipes something new is constantly added. And experiments concern not only the filling, but also the test.
The original solution is to replace the usual yeast cake with puff. The preparation of such a pizza is not more difficult than the variant in yeast, so everyone can try themselves in the role of pizza.
To prepare a dish, it will be enough:
- 1 pack of puff pastry;
- 50 g of meat mix (ham, balyk, boiled pork);
- 2 tablespoons homemade tomato sauce;
- 100 g of mozzarella;
- 1-2 tbsp. grated Parmesan;
- 2-3 feathers of green onions;
- 6-8 pcs. olives;
- 2 tsp. olive oil;
- a little greens (basil, oregano, dill);
- favorite spices.
- To cook 2 servings of pizza, you have to spend only 45 minutes, including training.
How to cook pizza on puff pastry
The preparation of such a snack is especially simple, since you do not have to worry about making the base. It is enough just to buy a package of puff pastry in a store, put on a stuffing and bake it. The main thing is to make the base crisp, and the contents - juicy.
First, defrost the base. To do this, follow the instructions on the package, otherwise - the result may not be the same as you would like.
Most manufacturers produce a folded several times, rectangular puff pastry. After defrosting, it must be carefully rolled out, trying to keep the shape and not damage the sheet.
Pre-prepare the ingredients for the filling. Buy ready-made meat cuts or slice home with thin slices.
To cook a tomato sauce, fry the tomato pulp with spices or evaporate to a consistency of thick sour cream half a glass of good tomato juice.
Other ingredients must be cut or grinded. This process is unlikely to take you more than 10 minutes. In the process of cutting, turn on the oven so that it can warm up to the desired temperature.
Lubricate the tray with a thin layer of olive oil. Carefully lay out the base, gently bend the edges, forming a rim. Cover the whole workpiece, including the sides, with tomato sauce.
Grated or cut into thin slices of mozzarella spread over the entire surface of the base. On the cheese, pour a pinch of dry oregano.
Place cheese cuts over the cheese. Do not get involved in meat ingredients - for pizza, they need very little, so as not to hammer the taste of other products.
Finely cut the onions of green onions and sprinkle the stuffed stuffing. Put a few whole olives - better without pits, but you can and with them. Whole olives look like ready-made pizza much more appetizing than chopped ones.
Rub on a fine grater hard cheese: parmesan, pecorino or grana padano - and evenly sprinkle the workpiece. Sprinkle on top of the remaining olive oil and send the oven.
This pizza should be cooked at the temperature recommended by the manufacturer of puff pastry (indicated on the package). At times, monitor the readiness of the substrate, as many ovens have their own "hole". The components of the filling do not require additional heat treatment, therefore, it is necessary to cook exactly as much as the cake is required.
Cut the finished pie with a roller knife into portions. Sprinkle each slice with herbs and enjoy an unforgettable taste.
Like other types of pizza, you can even prepare a snack on a puff pastry with a sweet baby stuffing. The main thing is to have time to eat it before cooling, as the cooled puff pastry loses considerably in taste qualities.
