RECIPE FOR A COLORFUL PIZZA WITH SEAFOOD AND PESTO SAUCE
It is believed that seafood began to be added to pizza in the 17th century. Then the hot tortilla with shrimp, squid, mussels and herbs was popular with sailors from Naples. Today, about pizza with seafood and delicious pesto sauce leave good reviews from people of all ages and interests.
Ingredients for 6 servings
- packing sea cocktail in oil - 1 pc;
- a few sprigs of arugula;
- green basil for the base of the sauce;
- Parmesan - 1 tbsp. l .;
- olive oil - 4 tbsp.
- garlic - 1 clove.
For the test:
- flour - 200 g;
- water - 125 ml;
- olive oil - 1 tbsp.
- dry yeast - 0.5 tsp;
- salt - 0.5 tsp.
To make the dough, combine 50 grams of flour, salt and dry yeast. Add water and stir the mixture. Leave a homogeneous mass for 15 minutes to approach.
Sift the rest of the flour through a sieve and mix with the brew. Knead the dough with your hands. Add olive oil and knead for another 10 minutes. Make a lump out of dough, cover with foil, then leave for about 40 minutes until the mass doubles.
To make pesto sauce, whip basil leaves, garlic, olive oil and grated parmesan in a blender.
Go to baking pizza. Preheat the oven to 180 C. Form a round or oval cake from the dough that came up, evenly distribute the pesto sauce on it, spread the olives on top. Put baking paper on a baking sheet, and then transfer the pizza to it. Bake the dish in the oven until the edges of the cake become golden (about 10 minutes).
Put the components of the sea cocktail on the hot cake, but without butter - just sprinkle the dough on it lightly. Sprinkle the dish with arugula and place in the oven for another minute.
